Are we there yet? This was just one of those days….
There was a stiff headwind most of the day and my pack seemed unusually heavy – I don’t know why. Then it rained the last 2 miles. The scenery was pleasant, but not enough of a distraction to lessen my desire to be done with the day.
I only took 1 picture while I was walking:
That being said, my attitude really wasn’t all that bad – just not as upbeat as usual. I still walked with a thankful heart, but I was very glad to see that bus.
When I got back to my car in Langlois, I decided to get another World Famous Hot Dog from the Langlois Market. This one only cost me $2.50, haha! I really like that place – nice people, and they were kind enough to let me park there while I walked. I bought some of their homemade mustard to bring home – yummmm!
Tomorrow should be a dry day – which means a lighter pack. It’ll be an extremely scenic day as well. I’m looking forward to it!
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you meet trials of many kinds; knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. ~ James 1:2-4
